Why is core training important?Samantha van den Brink: "The core of your body is the basis of all your movements. Strong core muscles have a positive effect on your physical health. You become more powerful, which will help you in both your sports and daily activities, like lifting. Next to that you will have better balance and bigger mobility. A strong core helps to prevent (sports) injuries, just because your core muscles are fundamental for all of your movements." TIP: in strength training (with weights) you also use your core muscles. Therefore, it is better to do the CXWORX workout after your strength exercises instead of before.
