FAQCan I use all the facilities with my subscription? With your Clubcard, you can make use of the group fitness classes, spinning classes, the fitness centre, the squash courts and the sauna.
Is the cost of instruction in the Fitness Centre included in the price? Yes, certainly. When you become a member of YOUR LIFE sportsclub, you will receive two free intake sessions with the fitness instructor. The instructor will show you the ropes in the club, create a training program for you and explain how the machines work. Your training program will be amended every 6 to 8 weeks. Assistance and instruction from our instructors is included in your subscription fee.
Do I have to register in advance if I want to participate in classes? It is recommended to register for the group fitness classes and the spinning classes via our online reservation system. Then you can always be sure of your place in the class.
Do I have to reserve in advance if I want to play squash? It is recommended to reserve a squash court via our online reservation system. This way you can always be sure that you will have a court.
How do I reserve a squash court or register for a class? When you become a member of YOUR LIFE sportsclub, you will automatically receive an email with a user name and a ‘link'. You can set your own password by following this link. You can access the reservation system by clicking on the link ‘Book Online' at the bottom of the screen on our website http://www.yourlife.nl/. Enter your user name and password to enter our reservation system. At the top left you can choose either the squash or klassikaal (group fitness and spinning classes) tabs. Click on the tab of your choice. Click on the a date in the calendar on the left to display the timetable for that date. In the timetable, DOUBLE-CLICK on the class that you want to book. Then click on "bevestigen" (confirm). You will receive an email with confirmation of your reservation. Check that the date and time of your reservation in the email are correct!
I'm going on holiday. Can I put my subscription on hold? Your subscription can't be put on hold for holidays (the average yearly number of holidays of 5 weeks is already included in the subscription)
I'm pregnant or injured and can't / may not exercise for a period of time. Can I put my subscription on hold? YES. You can request a member service form from reception. Hand the completed form back in to reception; you will receive a copy of the completed form. Within a few days you will receive a confirmation from us via email. The direct debits will continue during your illness or injury period. You don't need to provide a return date in advance. You can simply return when you are able to do so (within 9 months). Once you have returned, we will extend the duration of your membership with the same duration for which your subscription was on hold. No direct debits will occur during this extension. You are recompensed in time for the months and weeks that you missed: your subscription will be extended with the length of time you were ill / injured.
How can I cancel my membership? If you want to cancel your membership you need to complete a member service form; these are available from reception. Complete the form, making sure your signature and the date on which the form was filled in are on it, and hand it back in to reception. You will receive a copy of the completed form. You will receive an email within a few days stating the date on which your subscription will end and the date on which the last direct debit will take place. It is not possible to cancel your membership by email or by handwritten letter.
Until when does my membership run? The starting date of program period is in the middle of the copy of your registration form (also known as the membership form) that you received when you joined. If this date is 01-12-2009, for example, and you chose a year's subscription, it will run until 01-12-2010. Your subscription will be lengthened with the same period, unless you complete a member service form at least one calendar month before your subscription's end date. For the above case, you will have needed to cancel your membership before 01-11-2010.
How do I pay for my membership? We debit the following month's subscription fee from your account around the 27th of the month. |
